"If you are interested in bird watching or providing a backyard haven for birds, Andrew is your contact! We had a goal of creating a more bird friendly yard year-round. We wanted to do our best to maximize the space we have to provide shelter, food and water for the birds who winter here and we also had a few native bird species we wanted to provide nesting boxes for. Andrew is affordable and is 100% money well spent. Instead of me randomly googling, Andrew came to our house to create a plan for us. He took pictures on site and emailed me pictures with drawings of exactly what to put where and provided recommendations of where I could purchase product in Calgary.

Andrew ensured to ask what our goals were and then provided tips on how we could achieve those goals which for us included where to place the nest boxes, winter feeders, when to stop feeding in the winter to prepare for nesting pairs, etc. Winter is far less dreary with the wonderful bird visitors we have in our yard each day – there’s so much drama and bird song back there, we absolutely love it. I find it hard to walk away from the window and it’s been an absolute pleasure to create a more bird friendly space. We have the space anyways, might as well make life a bit easier for the birds who give us so much in return with their presence.
